In today's digital age, getting information and updates about government policies has evolved significantly. It revealed intriguing insights into the preferred sources of consumers to get information.

Staying up to Date with Government Policies
Social media emerged as the leading source of information about government policies, with 44.44% of respondents choosing it. This was followed by news websites as the second most popular source, with 19.05% of respondents turning to these platforms for information about government policies. News websites allow up-to-the-minute updates and multimedia content which enhances the reader's understanding and retention of information. Despite the digital shift, 12.70% of respondents chose traditional newspapers due to their credibility associated with print media. Many readers like to read editorial pieces and in-depth articles in newspapers, as they provide a broader context and a historical perspective on current policies. Around 11.11% of the respondents like to get their information from friends and family. This highlights the role of personal networks in information circulation. Conversations within social circles provide various opinions and interpretations that might not be covered in the media, offering a more personalized understanding of government policies. Television news is a popular source for 6.35% of respondents. However, its popularity has decreased due to the digital era. People seeking accurate and comprehensive data directly go to government websites accounting for 3.17% of respondents. Government websites provide people with authoritative and detailed information about policies, including press releases, official documents, and legislative texts.
