Indonesia Animal Feed Market Size and Share Outlook - Forecast Trends and Growth Analysis Report (2026-2035)

Poultry products such as chicken meat and eggs are staples for Indonesian locals and serve as a major source of protein in their diets, resulting in a highly developed poultry farming industry which drives the demand for animal feed. Relevant to this trend, De Hues, one of the largest animal feed brands in Indonesia, inaugurated two new production towers to produce poultry feed and fish as well as shrimp feed in December 2021.

Aquaculture is becoming an important source of income and livelihood for the fishing and poultry farming communities in Indonesia. This is raising the demand for high-quality aquafeed in the country, creating new opportunities for the animal feed market. Besides the Indonesian government, keen to increase its seafood exports to major export markets such as the United States, signed a regulatory framework agreement related to quality assurance of seafood products in July 2024. This has raised the demand for quality aquafeed production, enhancing the overall growth of the animal feed market.
