In 2017, Wienerberger AG announced the acquisition of the Preflex Group, a leading provider of prewired conduits, from Indufin Capital Partners. Preflex manufactured prewired flexible conduits for electrical installations with low-voltage cables as well as data cables, signaling cables, control cables, and fire alarm cables. The group operated two sites located in Ninove, Belgium and Ledignan, France, with a total capacity of up to 100,000 km of prewired conduits per year.

 

In 2021, Atkore Inc. announced the acquisition of the assets of Four Star Industries, a manufacturer of ½” – 6” High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) conduit, primarily serving the telecommunications, utility, infrastructure and datacom markets. The acquisition significantly   expanded Atkore’s product portfolio and enabled the company to serve growing markets such as broadband and renewable energy.

 

In 2021, Atkore announced the acquisition of Sasco Tubes & Roll Forming Inc., a Canadian company engaged in the manufacture of metal framing and associated products, serving the mechanical, solar, electrical, and construction industries.
