The Philippines paid the most for coconut water concentrate in Q3 2026: USD 3,680/MT, up 3.4% from USD 3,560/MT in Q2. Strong demand from North American brands and a premium for higher-Brix, consistent material keep Philippine prices above the other three markets. Worldwide, the average rose 3.8% to USD 3,652/MT from USD 3,520/MT, mostly because farmgate prices recovered from their lows and buyers rebuilt stocks. What about Q4 2026? We expect a global average somewhere in the USD 3,536-3,988/MT range, with coconut supply, farmgate prices and demand from beverage brands doing most of the work.
Coconut water concentrate is made by removing water from fresh coconut water by evaporation or freezing, which cuts shipping volumes and extends shelf life. It is reconstituted by beverage brands, blended into juices and smoothies, and used in sports drinks and flavoured waters. Prices follow the cost of coconuts, the Brix level, processing capacity and freight.
Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are the main suppliers, with buyers in North America, Europe, China and the Middle East. Thai farmgate prices fell to a few baht per coconut early in 2026 after plantings expanded faster than export capacity, and a recovery toward a government target for the third quarter helped processors lift offers.
Prices should recover slowly through the rest of 2026. Farmgate prices have risen from their lows, processors have less excess stock, and beverage brands normally buy ahead of the new year. Plentiful coconuts limit the pace. Year on year, the global average has moved from USD 4,190/MT to USD 3,652/MT, a decrease of 12.8%.
For Q4, the risks are balanced with a slight upward tilt. What could push prices higher? Poor weather, a stronger rebound in farmgate prices or heavy buying by beverage brands would lift prices. What could pull them lower? Further growth in Thai plantings, export bottlenecks or weak demand from brands would lower prices.

| Sri Lanka | 3,524 - 3,974 | Firm demand from Europe and the Middle East |
| Vietnam | 3,534 - 3,986 | Regional supply growth caps prices |
