The Philippines paid the most for organic coconut water NFC in Q3 2026: USD 1,790/MT, up 3.5% from USD 1,730/MT in Q2. Limited certified acreage and the cost of audits and traceability keep Philippine prices above the other three markets. Worldwide, the average rose 3.5% to USD 1,770/MT from USD 1,710/MT, mostly because farmgate prices recovered and organic brands rebuilt stocks. What about Q4 2026? We expect a global average somewhere in the USD 1,706-1,923/MT range, with certified supply, farmgate prices and organic demand doing most of the work.
Organic coconut water NFC is made from certified organic coconuts and is not concentrated before packing. It is sold chilled, frozen or in aseptic packs to organic beverage brands and private label customers. Prices carry a premium over conventional NFC for certification, segregation, audits and lower yields.
The Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and India supply certified material, mainly to North America and Europe, with a growing domestic market in India. Farmgate prices for conventional coconuts in Thailand fell early in 2026 and recovered in the third quarter, and organic NFC prices followed at a smaller scale because certified supply is limited.
Prices should recover slowly through the rest of 2026. Farmgate prices have risen from their lows, certified supply stays limited, and organic brands usually rebuild stocks before the new year. Plentiful conventional coconuts limit the pace. Year on year, the global average has moved from USD 2,008/MT to USD 1,770/MT, a decrease of 11.9%.
For Q4, the risks are balanced with a slight upward tilt. What could push prices higher? Poor weather, a stronger rebound in farmgate prices or strong demand from organic brands would lift prices. What could pull them lower? More certified acreage, export bottlenecks or weak demand for organic drinks would lower prices.
